Are there restrictions on activities? 
TopJump welcomes people of all ages and physical abilities. Jumpers will be separated by age/size, and all jumpers must be able to follow our rules. Jumpers under 42" must be watched by a parent or guardian, and jumpers may not exceed 285 lbs. In addition, Clip ’n Climb welcomes people of all physical abilities above the age of 4 and 30 pounds. Climbers may not exceed 330 lbs. Everyone must be able to follow TopJump's rules.

Do I need special socks or footwear for the activities? 
Jumpers: To maintain a clean and safe environment, all jumpers must wear rubber bottomed socks. Jump socks are available on-site for an additional fee, or you may bring your own.

Climbers: All climbers must wear closed-toe and closed-heel shoes. Closed-toe shoes are available on-site for rent.

Is there a place to keep my stuff? 
Complimentary cubbies are provided. Lockers are also available for rent if you would like to secure your items.

Can I jump and climb with my family members and friends?
Jumpers: Jumpers are separated by age and size to avoid injuries. TopJump reserves the right to move jumpers to different areas of the park for their safety.

Yes! Every jumper must have a waiver on file. If you are under 18, you must have your parent, legal guardian, or power of attorney fill out the waiver for you. The single waiver works for jumping or climbing.

What safety measures are in place for those jumping and climbing at the park?
To ensure safety of jumpers and climbers, TopJump's attentive staff members watch every activity to ensure the safety of participants.

Jumpers must:

What is the inclement weather policy? 
Rides may close under certain weather conditions, particularly rain, high winds and/or lightning. It is not possible to provide a specific answer regarding which rides close or remain open because varying degrees of inclement weather cause different effects on different rides. The rides affected the most by inclement weather are the roller coasters and the high rides. Carowinds makes every effort to reopen the rides as quickly and safely as possible after the adverse weather conditions cease. Unfortunately, we do not offer rain checks or refunds.

Am I permitted to bring my own food and beverages into the park? 
For everyone's safety, guests are not permitted to bring coolers, outside food, or other drinks into Carowinds. Grilling in parking lots is also prohibited. More than 30 restaurants and snack stands provide a broad dining experience within the park. Individuals who have special diets or need items due to a medical condition are asked to visit Guest Services located at the Front Gate for accommodation.

Are wheelchairs and strollers available for rent? 
Strollers and wheelchair rentals are located inside of the South Gate Entrance and next to Guest Services at the North Gate Entrance. Please note, a valid form of identification must be presented to rent a manual or electric wheelchair for a fee.

Do you allow pets at Carowinds? 
No pets are allowed in the park except for service animals. Guests traveling with pets may take advantage of the Pet Kennel at Carowinds.

Fritz's Adventure ID 6106

Do I need a wristband if I do not plan to participate? 
Yes. Fritz’s Adventure is a ticketed (and gated) attraction – which means that everyone who enters the building must have a paid admission ticket/wristband. Tickets are purchased individually, by age:

  • Toddler (0-3, Free)
  • Junior Adventurer (4-11)
  • Adventurer (12-54)
  • Senior Adventurer (55+)

We also offer special passes for those who want to participate at a different level. Our Limited Adventurer pass allows the participant to have access to the entire facility but is not able to participate in harnessed activities (Ropes Course and Fritz’s City Wall). The Non-Adventurer pass allows the participant to enter the building but is restricted to the entry level mezzanine. Each ticket is an ALL-DAY pass. Additional rates and fees may apply for certain activities and attractions, depending on the time of year.

Can I drop my kids off to play?
No. For the safety of all guests we have certain requirements: Youth under the age of 16 are not permitted in the building without a paid adult chaperone (18+). Youth under the age of 12 are not permitted on the attraction floor without supervision by someone 16+ years.

Is the ticket good all day?
Yes, your admission ticket/wristband is good all day on the day of purchase. Wristbands are non-transferable and will be voided if removed and reattached. You are permitted to exit and re-enter the building as you please as long as your wristband is intact; we ask that all guests use the exit and entrance turnstiles accordingly. We do not guarantee access to all attractions during your visit. We reserve the right to ask any patron to leave (without refund) if they are being inappropriate, unruly or in direct violation of any posted rule or regulation.

How long should I stay? 
The average family spends approximately 2 to 4 hours at Fritz’s Adventure, but some have been known to stay 6+ hours. Wristbands and tickets are valid for an entire day of play at Fritz’s Adventure.

Are there age requirements/restrictions?
Most of our attractions with limitations are categorized by height, but there are a few places that may be restrictive based on age. Example: Adult supervision for all children under the age of 8 is required through the Container Maze. Children under the age of 5 are not permitted in “The Pit” (warped wall area). Signs are posted throughout the facility to give further instruction.

Are there height and weight restrictions?
There are minimum height requirements for our slides and harnessed attractions. 4 out of 5 slides have a minimum height requirement of 42". The 3-story Sky Trail™ ropes course and City Wall climbing experience (both requiring harnesses) have a minimum height requirement of 48" with a weight limit of 300 lbs.  Our outdoor climbing adventure, the Fritz’s Via Ferrata, has a minimum height requirement of 55" and a maximum weight limit of 300 lbs.

Is there anything for toddlers?
Yes, Fritz’s Adventure has plenty of activities and attractions suited perfectly for toddlers.

Do you have a restaurant/sell food?
Fritz’s Café, located on the entry level mezzanine, is open select hours during the attraction’s normal operating hours.  These hours will vary seasonally. We serve a light selection of sandwiches, wraps, salads, and kids meals.  We also offer a variety of snacks, bottled water, bottled and fountain drinks.

Can we bring in food?
We do not permit outside food or drink inside the facility. All food and drink purchased within the building must stay on the mezzanine level and is strictly prohibited on the attraction floor. If you bring in a water bottle, it must be empty. You can refill your bottle at our convenient water spouts located near the Café. There are also water fountains located on every level.

Are lockers available?
We have lockers available for rent for $5/day. They are self-service, take cash or credit, and can be accessed unlimited times during the day. Be prepared: certain attractions and high-rise elements require you to empty your hands and pockets of any and all items (phones, keys, wallet, money, etc.) and in such cases, buckets are located nearby for short-term storage only. Fritz’s Adventure is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Is there a dress code? 
We encourage comfortable or athletic attire that allows for movement. Remember that you will be climbing, crawling, crouching and sliding throughout the facility – so plan accordingly. Due to the nature of certain floor and stair elements, skirts and dresses require shorts, leggings or pants be worn underneath.

Do I have to wear shoes?
SHOES ARE REQUIRED. Tennis shoes are preferred, but most shoes with a back or back strap are permitted. Flip-flops, slides and high heels are NOT allowed on certain attractions. If you arrive unprepared, proper footwear can be rented from Fritz’s Outfitters for a fee.

Do you allow smoking?
No, Fritz's Adventure is a non-smoking, tobacco-free campus—inside and outside.

Are we allowed to take photos?
Yes. However, there may be some areas or attractions that don’t permit the use of cell phones or cameras – like our ropes course, suspended bridge and climbing wall. Photographs, film, or videotape may not be taken of individuals without their express permission or, in the case of minors, without the express written permission of parents or legal guardians.

How long is the show?
Samson is approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes long with a 15-minute intermission.

Is food served at the theater?
The concession stands serve light fare such as sandwiches, snacks, and beverages. Guests are welcome to enjoy concessions items inside the theater during the show.

If you have a known allergy to nuts, please be advised that the signature almonds are roasted and sold in the theater lobbies. Additionally, the concessions areas process products that contain peanuts, tree nuts, milk, soy and wheat. We cannot guarantee that the products are free from cross-contamination of the top eight allergens. During your visit, please talk to one of our concessions team members to discuss safe food options for your family. We welcome guests with special dietary needs to bring their own snack items into the theater.

Is there a dress code for the show?
No.

Are cameras allowed inside the theater?
Feel free to use your camera right up until the start of the show. During the performance, however, photography and video are not permitted.

Will I be seated if I arrive late?
In order to ensure the safety of all guests, actors and animal actors (who use the aisles in darkened show conditions), we cannot guarantee that we will be able to seat you immediately. The theater doors will close promptly at show time. If you arrive after the start of the show, the House Manager will determine when and where you will be seated. Please know that we may not be able to seat you until intermission. To get the most out of your Sight & Sound Theatres experience, please plan to arrive 45 minutes before your scheduled show time.

Is the theater accessible?
Yes. In addition, wheelchair parking and restroom facilities are available. Please note your request for wheelchair seating when booking your tickets.

Are performances interpreted for the deaf?
Yes. Yes, we offer American Sign Language interpretation at select dates and times. Please call 1-800-377-1277 for more information.

What security measures are in place at the theater?
At the theater, full-time, trained security staff is on patrol at all times. In addition, electronic surveillance is in use. The theater reserves the right to inspect any bag, container, or package brought into the theater.

Are children welcome at the show?
Yes. As a family business that values and believes in quality family time, we delight in creating memorable experiences for the entire family. Children of all ages are welcome. However, since the shows run approximately 2 ½ hours in length, we have found they are best suited for children age 5 and up. Should your child become restless or need a break, we do offer a Family Room, where you can watch a live video feed of the show on a TV.

Are car seats, strollers, or baby carriers allowed inside the theater?
For the safety of guests and actors, large items such as car seats, strollers or baby carriers are not allowed into the theater. However, we do offer booster seats so that children can have the vantage point they need to enjoy the show. If you have a young child that becomes restless during the performance, you’re welcome to accompany your child to our Family Room as needed, where you can watch a live video feed of the show on a TV.

If my child sits on my lap, do they need a ticket?
Children under the age of 3 may sit on a parent’s lap and do not require a ticket. Children age 3 and older do require a ticket and their own seat. We offer booster seats to provide young children with the best possible view. If you think your child may need a booster seat, please speak with one of the ushers when you arrive.

Branson Coaster

What are the age and height requirements for the Branson Coaster?
All riders must adhere to the height, weight, and age requirements:

  • A lone driver must be at least 54″ tall.
  • A passenger must be at least 3 years old and 36″ - 53" tall to ride.
  • To ride double, the driver must be at least 16 years old.
  • The maximum combined weight of the riders is 375 pounds in dry conditions and 330 pounds in wet conditions. No exceptions!


What safety measures are in place?
While at the coaster, riders and drivers will be briefed on all safety precautions, including:

  • Driver must be able to operate both brake levers.
  • Riders & drivers alike cannot be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
  • Stay at least 80 feet from the cart in front of you, 180 feet when wet. 
  • Seat belts must remain latched until directed by the ride attendant.


In addition, guests with recent surgeries or injuries should not ride. Pregnant women are not recommended to ride as well.

Is the Branson Coaster fast?
With the installed, patented braking system, riders can control the speed of their experience. Be sure to follow the safety instructions while using the system.

The tour is approximately 2 hours long and covers 1.2 miles of walking.

Where does the tour begin?
Tours meet outside of Pizzeria Uno located at 29 E. Ohio St.

Does the tour end at the same place it began?
No. Tours end at 730 N Rush St. (Giordano’s).

Is parking available?
Guests may use the paid parking lot located near the tour departure point. Standard parking rates apply and may vary. Parking is not validated.

Is gluten-free pizza available?
No. Only cheese pizza is served on this tour.

Are drinks included in my tour price?
No. Chicago Crime Tours does not provide drinks. Guests are welcome to bring a bottle of water.

Is this tour kid-friendly?
Yes.

Will the tour operate in the case of rain?
Yes. Tours operate rain or shine. In the case of severe weather, Chicago Crime Tours reserves the right to cancel and offer rescheduling options.

Each room has a maximum number of players.

Will I be playing with random people?
If you do not reserve the maximum number of spots per room, there is a chance that you may enter the escape room with other participants. However, this adds to the fun! You’ll make new friends as you attempt to escape.

What is the age limit for the escape rooms?
Our games are recommended for ages 12 and up. While we do allow younger children, the game content may be difficult for them. Players that are 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Please note that our Suburban Serial Killer game does include adult content and may not be suitable for players under 18.

How long does an escape room take to complete?
That’s up to your problem-solving skills! Participants have one hour (60 minutes) to complete all of the puzzles inside the room and escape.

When should I arrive?
Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled game time to be debriefed on the rules and take photos.

What happens if I am late for my scheduled game time?
Because these are live-action events you must arrive on time in order to participate. The game will begin at exactly the time you signed up for. Leave ample time to allow for traffic and parking. If you arrive after the door to the room has been shut, we will allow you to enter but please note that the game has already begun. Cancellations will only be refundable if we are notified 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.

Will I really be locked in a room?
While the room is locked there is a key in the door at all times. If at any time you feel the need to leave the room you may do so. You will, however, not be allowed back into the room if you leave.

Do I need to make a reservation?
Yes. This ensures that you will be able to participate in your chosen room at the time you prefer.

How many people can participate at a time?
Each escape room challenge has a limit of 6 participants.

Where is the Lab Escape Room located?
The Lab Escape Room can be found on the first floor of Nightmare Haunted House located at  1001 North Ocean Boulevard, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, SC 29577.

Is this appropriate for children?
Yes. The Lab Escape Room is appropriate for children. Due to the complexity of the puzzles and situation, the escape room is ideal for older children.

How long do I have to escape?
Participants have 30 minutes to solve all of the puzzles and escape the room.

Is the escape room scary?
Not at all! The Lab Escape Room is a non-scary escape room experience.

What are the hours of operation?

  • Sunday–Thursday: 10:00 am–10:30 pm 
  • Friday–Saturday: 10:00 am–12 midnight

Is the experience appropriate for all ages?
No. It is recommended for children ages 6 and up.

Is the experience accessible to guests with disabilities?
Yes. The experience is fully wheelchair accessible and accessible for guests with disabilities.

Are strollers permitted?
No. Strollers may be checked at the coat check desk prior to entering the experience.

Can I bring food and beverages?
No. Outside food and drink is strictly prohibited within the experience with the exception of closed water bottles.

How long does the entire experience take?
Budget 90 minutes for the entire experience.

Can I bring our luggage or large bags with us?
For security reasons, large bags and luggage are not permitted. Smaller bags are permitted and are subject to search upon entry. Management reserves the right at its discretion to require guests to check any items or articles considered unsuitable for the experience.

Can I take pictures while inside the experience?
Yes. Photography with smartphones and cameras are allowed. However, flash photography and videography is strictly prohibited.

Will I get wet?
No, you won’t get wet. You may feel like you’re diving beneath the ocean, but you won’t be submerged!

Is the attraction available in different languages?
The first part of the experience is a visual experience with immersive sounds of the ocean. Language translations are integrated into the post-show attraction, the second part of the experience; subtitles in Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Japanese and Chinese will be available during that time.

What happens if I show up late for my time slot?
Tickets are non-refundable and can only be exchanged prior to the date and time appearing on your ticket, and based on availability. If you are late, we will do our best to accommodate you in the next available time slot. Additional fees may apply.
