Flagship Summer Whale Watching Adventure

Can I cancel my ticket and reservation?
Once purchased, all tickets sales are final. With 24-hours or more advanced notice, we can gladly reschedule your whale watching tour for another time that conveniently fits your schedule.

What happens if it rains on the day of my scheduled whale watching tour?
Rain will not typically cancel a tour. In the case of a wind advisory, severe storms, or other weather conditions, we will cancel the tour that morning and notify all scheduled participants. If your cruise is canceled, you can choose to reschedule for a more convenient time during your vacation or receive a full refund.

Is parking available?
Yes. The following parking options are available nearby:
  • Metered Parking: $1.75 per hour (3-hour maximum)
  • USS Midway Parking Lot: $10 (up to 12 hours), open 24/7. Located at 910 N. Harbor Drive.

  • The Summer Big Bay Shuttle Service runs from Downtown San Diego to the Embarcadero and Harbor Island.
What should I wear for the whale watching tour?
Comfortable clothes and sturdy shoes are recommended for all guests. Bring a jacket in case of cool winds and light rain.

When should I arrive?
The ship boards approximately 15 to 30 minutes prior to departure. Please arrive within this time frame in order to have the best possible whale watching experience and not miss your tour.

I get seasick. What should I do?
If you know you typically get seasick, please take medication prior to the tour or opt to not participate. Medication and seasick wristbands can be purchased at the dockside gift store if necessary.
