Disneyland Resort Theme Parks

What is Disney FastPass+ and how does it work?
Disney's FastPass+ service is FREE and allows you to enjoy popular attractions at Disney World without spending time waiting in line. Look for the FastPass+ Distribution sign near the entrance of an attraction. Check the Return Time displayed on the sign. If the return time works for you, insert your admission ticket and the machine will generate a FastPass+ ticket printed with your return time. Return to the FastPass+ Return entrance at your Return Time to enjoy the attraction with a minimal wait.

What is Magic Morning?
With Magic Morning, you get ONE early admission (during the duration of your 3+ day theme park ticket or Southern California CityPASS) to select attraction, stores, entertainment and dining locations at Disneyland Park one hour before the park opens to the general public on select days (Tuesdays, Thursdays or Saturdays). This does not apply to Disney California Adventure Park.

Does Disneyland Resort offer MagiBands or My Disney Experience?
No. At this time, these features are exclusive to Walt Disney World Resort. MagicBands are used only at Walt Disney World Resort, whereas paper tickets are used at the Disneyland Resort.

What is the difference between Magic Morning and Extra Magic Hour at Disneyland Resort?
~Magic Morning, included with 3+ day ticket, allows you to enter Disneyland Park one hour before regular opening time on select days.
~Extra Magic Hour is a feature only available to guests who book and stay at a Disneyland Resort Hotel. The Extra Magic Hour allows you to enter the Disneyland Park on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Disney’s California Adventure park is Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. You can take advantage of the extra one hour every morning for the length of your admission ticket.

Can I visit both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park in one day?
Yes, if you purchased a Park Hopper Option, you can visit both parks on the same day.

What is the best way to dress for a day at the parks?
The parks are a casual, family-oriented environment. We suggest you dress comfortably, wear good walking shoes and check the local weather report before you leave for the parks.

How does inclement weather affect the availability of attractions and entertainment at the Disneyland Resort?
In the event of inclement weather during your visit to the Disneyland Resort, most attractions and indoor shows will continue to operate. For the safety and comfort of our Guests and Cast, some outdoor attractions may temporarily close until the inclement weather passes.

Is there transportation from the Disneyland Resort hotels to the theme parks?
The Disneyland Resort is a pedestrian resort. Both parks are a short stroll through the Downtown Disney District from the Disneyland Resort Hotels. The Disneyland Monorail stops at nearby Downtown Disney District and at Tomorrowland inside Disneyland Park.

Are there any personal items guests should not bring into the theme parks?
All bags and purses are inspected prior to guests entering the theme parks. Guests are not allowed to bring wagons, skateboards, scooters, in-line skates, shoes with built-in wheels, two-wheeled or three-wheeled conveyances, strollers larger than 36” x 52”, alcoholic beverages, any illegal substances, sporting goods, restraining devices, weapons, folding chairs, glass containers (excluding baby food jars and perfume bottles,) Suitcases and pets (unless they are service animals.)

Are Coolers permitted inside the parks?
Cooler larger than a 6-pack sized are not permitted into the theme parks. Note: Guest can store coolers up to 18” wide X 25” high X 37” deep in rentable large lockers located outside the Disneyland Park Main Entrance. Lockers are not refrigerated and availability is limited.

Can I bring outside food or beverages into the Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park?
At the present time, you can enjoy your own food and beverages at the complimentary picnic area - conveniently located outside the Main Entrance to Disneyland Park.

How much does it cost to park at Disneyland or Disneyland Adventure Park?
$17 Cars and motorcycles
$22 Oversized vehicles
$27 Buses and tractors with extended trailers

Are lockers and wheelchairs available?
Yes, lockers are available for rental in the Esplanade between the parks. Lockers are rented per day and lockers inside the parks are subject to park operating hours. Manual wheelchairs and ECV’s are available to rent on first-come, first-served basis outside the entrance of Disneyland Park and can be used in both parks. Since they may not be reserved, please plan to arrive early.

How much does it cost to rent a stroller at Disneyland or Disneyland Adventure Park?
Stroller rentals are available outside the Disneyland Park Main Entrance. The price of one stroller is $15 per day and $25 per day for 2 strollers. Rented strollers may be used in both Disney California Adventure and Disneyland Park. Rented strollers are not permitted in the Downtown Disney District.

What is Downtown Disney and where is it located?
The Downtown Disney District is an exciting dining, entertainment and shopping promenade conveniently located within walking distance to Disney California Adventure Park and Disneyland Park.

Can my child enter Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park without an adult?
Guests under 14 years of age must be accompanied by a Guest age 14 years of age or older to enter the parks.
