What are the hours of operation?
The attraction is open 365 days a year including all holidays. Helicopters fly from sunrise to sunset depending on the weather.

Is parking provided? If so, what is the fee?
The parking area at the heliport is privately owned by ABM Parking Services. There is a "Self Service Pay Booth" at the entrance that accepts Visa and MasterCard. It also accepts cash but does not provide any change. Parking charges average $7.

Are there any age/physical/health/etc. restrictions for this activity?
If you are under 18 you must be accompanied by an adult.

What should I bring?
Bring a valid photo ID for all passengers 18 and older.

Maverick Kauai Helicopters is located at Port Allen Airport in Kauai.

Is the tour/attraction/activity appropriate for children?
Yes, but passengers under the age of 18 must be accompanied on the flight by an adult.

Is transportation included? If so, where is the pick-up spot or how do I arrange it?
No.

Is the attraction/tour/activity wheelchair accessible?
Yes, but to fly you must be accompanied by someone who can assist you with boarding and disembarking the aircraft. Please keep in mind, Maverick's staff is unable to assist guests in or out of the aircraft.

How long is the tour?
The Kauai Explorer tour is 50 minutes. The Kauai Discovery tour is 25 minutes.

What’s included in my ticket/experience?
Maverick prides itself on being the only "true" VIP-level helicopter company. Guests will be treated to the plush interior of our ECO-Star helicopters, as well as personal narration by highly qualified pilots. The helicopters are equipped with seven leather passenger seats plus one for the pilot. The seating arrangement is determined by the pilot based on the passengers' weights.
