Austin Live Music Experience ID 7522

How long is the tour?
The tour is 3 hours long.

What is the cancellation policy?
Full refunds will be given up to 24 hours before the start of tour. Tours cancelled within 24 hours of the tour start date (or no shows) will not be refunded. Sorry about that. So control yourself on Sixth Street the night before and come ready for a good time!

Will the tour be cancelled if there are not enough people on board?
If we don’t have 10 party people on board, we will regretfully cancel the tour. It’s rare, but if it happens we will notify you the day prior to your tour.

What should I bring?
A sense of humor, beverages of your choosing, a significant other for our “date swap” at the end of the tour (kidding, kidding), and tips for your fabulous tour guide, band, and driver.

Do I tip the drivers and guides?
Our lovely people are working very hard to make sure you have an amazing, incredible, Instagram-worthy experience. They do this because they love Austin and they love sharing it. But rent is getting pretty ridiculous around here. So tips are always appreciated. We recommend $10 – $20 per person, as these tips are split among the tour guide, driver, and each band member.

Where will I meet the tour?
Meet your Twisted Texas guide at the Cedar Street courtyard at 208 W. 4th St. Remember that tours do leave on time, so we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes prior to the tour start time.

Can I bring alcohol on the tour?
Alcohol consumption is allowed onboard tourism vehicles. Except for the driver of course! Coolers are not allowed, with the exception of “lunch-box” sized coolers. If it won’t fit in your middle school locker, you can’t bring it on the bus. Here’s what you can bring onboard: Wine/Champagne Beer Hard Seltzer cans, and any other form of canned fruity drink.

What happens during inclement weather?
Austin gets 300 days of sunshine a year, and our lakes slowly turning into puddles is proof there is not too much inclement weather. Most of our tours are driving and/or indoor-oriented, so only the serious weather will be cause for a cancellation. If this happens, you will be notified as soon as possible that the tour will not run. You will be fully refunded if the tour is canceled due to weather.

What is the age limit on the tours?
Our tours are designed for those who have hit puberty, can drink legally, and have probably had their heart broken or dreams crushed once or twice. If you’re traveling with young-uns, well, the Duck Boats even hand out quackers. Guests must be over 21 for ALL Twisted Texas tours except the Weird Austin City Tour. No exceptions. No babies.

Can I bring food?
No food allowed on the bus. This is not a McDonald’s, eat before you come people. In fact, if you’re drinking, we strongly recommend this.

Is the bus temperature comfortable?
This bus is temperature climate-controlled, but Austin does get into triple digits…so come prepared for the weather!

Is there a place to store luggage while on a tour?
