There are three areas at Springmaid Beach Resort – Live Oaks, Palmetto Dunes and Cypress. There are a total of six floors, with convenient elevator access.

There are two restaurants on-site – The Pier Café and Marlin’s Restaurant, as well as the oceanfront BARnacles, serving cocktails, beer, ice cream and delicious food like hamburgers and BBQ sandwiches. Hours are seasonal.

Do you have any resort fees at this property?
Springmaid Beach Resort charges a 7.5% daily resort fee which includes parking, wireless internet, in-room safe, indoor/outdoor pools, lazy river and inner tubes, pier access, unlimited putt putt golf, on-site security, local phone calls, voice mail, fitness center access, business center, and concierge services. There is also a $1.00 daily destination fee at our resort in Myrtle Beach to help promote tourism in the Myrtle Beach area.

The pools are open from 9am-11pm. Hours are seasonal.

Are pets allowed at the resort?
Pets are permitted when assisting guests with disabilities. Also, Springmaid is a dog-friendly resort. Springmaid has 13 rooms set aside in the Cypress Building for guests bringing dogs, and a dog friendly area outside. Dogs must be in good health, be on a leash at all times and weigh less than 35 lbs. Guests must be familiar with and abide by Springmaid’s Dog Policies at all times. Please request a pet-friendly Cypress room when making your reservation.
Is there a charge to fish from the Springmaid Beach Pier?
Pier access is free to guests, but you must purchase a South Carolina fishing pass in order to legally fish from the pier. You can purchase these at a discount rate at the Pier Tackle Shop.
Are rod rentals available from the Pier?
Yes, rod rentals are available and bait is available for purchase.

The cost is $9.99 per adult and $4.95 per child if purchased directly at the buffet. A lunch buffet is also offered for $9.99 per adult and $4.95 per child, and a dinner buffet for $12.95 per adult and $6.95 per child. On Fridays a seafood dinner buffet is served. Please note all prices are before tax and the lunch and dinner buffet is available based on occupancy (therefore is not available during most winter months).
