Piiholo Ranch Canopy Zipline Tours

How long is the zipline tour?
The length of your zipline tour depends on the tour you purchase. Our 6-line and 7-line zipline tours both last approximately 2.5 hours.

What is the best way to get to Piiholo Ranch?
We highly recommend renting a car for the day. Not only will you have the opportunity to see more of the amazing sights on this side of the island, you will also skip the mile walk from the bus stop to our check-in point. The Maui Bus brings passengers to the Makawao Town stop, which is approximately a mile away from the check-in site.

We do not provide shuttle service, but recommend that you contact any of the following options:
  • All In One Executive Services at (808) 572-1717 or email aioexecutivecars@yahoo.com
  • Primo VIP at (808) 268-1416 or email reservations@primovip.com
  • Maui Tour and Transport at (808) 269-7245 or email mauitourandtrans@gmail.com
Be sure to ask about their discounted rates for Piiholo Ranch zipline guests!

What should I wear?
Guests must wear closed-toe shoes in order to participate. Flip-flops, sandals, Crocs, Vibram FiveFingers, water shoes, or other unsteady, open toe shoes are allowed on the zipline tours. Pants, long shorts, t-shirts, and a hat are recommended.

Can I bring my camera?
Yes. Cameras are allowed on the tour. The camera should have a safety strap. If dropped while on the zipline tour, it cannot be retrieved.

GoPros are allowed, but provided helmets may not be compatible with the mounts on newer cameras.

Can I bring my bag or purse on the zipline tour?
No. Backpacks, purses, fanny packs, and other large bags are not allowed on the tour and Piiholo Ranch Canopy Zipline Tours does not have a storage facility for guests. Storage boxes are available for small items such as car keys.

What is the age restriction for ziplining?
Children must be 8 years or older to participate. Children under 15 years old must be accompanied by a parent on the tour. Guests ages 16 or 17 must have a parent present when signing waivers and checking in.

Are there physical restrictions for ziplining?

Yes. For your personal safety and the safety of others, canopy zipline tour participants must weigh between 50lbs and 250lbs in order to take part in the activities.

Guests must be able to physically handle all areas of the tour. Actions include walking through uneven terrain, ascending stairs and ramps, carrying a 12-pound trolley, grabbing handlebars, and more. For this reason, pregnant women or participants with neck, back, shoulder, knee, or ankle injuries should not go on the tour. Those who have heart conditions or recently had surgery should also not participate.

Ask your tour guide prior to participating if you have any concerns regarding the physicality of the tour.

Will the tour still happen if it rains?
Yes. Tours are conducted rain or shine. Rain jackets are provided on an as needed basis. In the event of severe weather such as lightning, thunder, or other potentially dangerous conditions, your tour will be rescheduled or refunded. The refunded amount is based on the percentage of your tour completed when the decision to cancel is made.

What is the cancellation policy?
Any cancellations made by the listed reservation date will receive a FULL REFUND with absolutely NO CANCELLATION FEES. Any reservations past the cancellation date cannot be changed or canceled.
