Richard Petty Driving Experience at Walt Disney

Are there any additional fees?
Yes, if you are driving, they require a $39 + tax Driver Release Fee due at check-in.

Do they operate in inclement weather?
They operate most days but may be closed due to inclement weather, testing or private events.

Do I need a reservation for the Ride-Along Experience?
No, this experience is on a first-come first-served basis. The driving experiences will require you to select a time. You should plan on arriving 30 minutes prior.

Where is this located?
The Walt Disney World Speedway is located just past the Magic Kingdom toll plaza on the left.

Is there parking?
Complimentary parking is available at the Speedway Infield. A complimentary shuttle is also available, departing from the Lost and Found at the Ticket and Transportation Center.

What should I wear?
Closed-toe shoes are required. You will be wearing a jumpsuit over your street clothes, so please dress with that in mind.

What are the driving requirements?
You must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid driver's license to drive.

Will they provide training before I drive?
Before you put the pedal to the metal, you’ll receive in-car and on-track training from our experienced instructors.
