Hilo Twilight Volcano Adventure ID 6281

How long is the tour?
Tour time is approximately 12 hours round trip, from Kona, 11 hours from Waikoloa, and 8 hours from Hilo.

How many people are on the tour?
The tour can accommodate up to 14 guests.

Is food served?
Yes. all guests are served a dinner.

Am I required to pay an entry fee for Hawaii Volcanoes National Park?
No. National park entrance fees are included.

Does the tour provide any gear?
Yes. Walking sticks, flashlights, day packs, warm wear and rain ponchos are provided.

What should I wear?
Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes, long pants, and a light jacket. The tour can sometimes encounter wet, cool, and muddy situations.

How much hiking is involved?
Throughout the tour, the group will stop for short hikes of up to 1.5 miles.

Will we get to see active lava?
Due to the dynamic nature of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and Kilauea Volcano, active lava viewing conditions change daily or even hourly and cannot be guaranteed. Current eruption viewing on this tour takes place at the summit crater.
