Are life jackets available at the waterpark?
Yes. Life jackets are available for use throughout Cedar Point Shores. Life jackets are complimentary and are available to any guest wishing to use one. Children, first-time swimmers, and weaker swimmers are encouraged to wear a life jacket. Life jackets are available for all guests needing special consideration. Some attractions require children below a specific height to wear a life jacket before participating in the attraction. Aquatics staff and lifeguards reserve the right to impose the use of life jackets as needed.
Can I bring my own life jacket?
Guests are permitted to wear their own life jacket; however, it must be Coast Guard certified. Masks and snorkels are not permitted at any water attraction.
Is smoking permitted at the waterpark?
Cedar Point Shores is a smoke-free environment. Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas.
Can I bring items on the waterslide?
Please secure all loose articles, including hats, glasses, and jewelry when riding. Cameras, cell phones, and video recording devices may not be used on any slide or in any changing area or restroom.
Does Cedar Point Shores Waterpark have a first aid station?
Yes. The First Aid Station is located near Subway. If you need any assistance during your visit, do not hesitate to stop by the First Aid Station, or notify the nearest lifeguard.
What happens if I lose something?
If you happen to lose an item or leave an item behind while visiting, please go to Cedar Point Shores Information Station during regular operating hours. After hours, please visit Lost and Found located outside of the main entrance to Cedar Point.
Is Cedar Point Shores Waterpark accessible?
Yes. Guests with disabilities are encouraged to visit the Guests with Disabilities page for detailed information on the requirements of each attraction, along with the programs that Cedar Point Shores offers.
Additionally, a water wheelchair is available for guests requiring additional assistance when at Breakwater Bay. The water wheelchair may be used by multiple guests on the same day. During your visit, please speak to a member of our Aquatics management team at Cedar Point Shores Information Station to obtain access to the water wheelchair and for further accessibility information.
Are lockers available for rent?
Yes. For your convenience, lockers are located next to the main gate, Breakwater Bay, and Crosscurrent. Various locker sizes are available for all of your personal belongings. Locker rentals are automated and can be paid using credit cards. Debit cards cannot be used at this time. The lockers work with electronic pin codes and will allow unlimited access throughout the day. Locker access is available until Cedar Point Shores is closed for the evening. Cedar Point cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen items.
Do I need to bring my own inner tube?
No. Inner tubes are available free of charge at each attraction that requires a tube in order to ride. Inner tubes must remain at the attraction after riding.
Can I pack my own lunch and bring it into the park?
No. Guests are not permitted to bring any food or drink items into the park. However, individual, unopened water bottles, as well as special diet/need items, may be brought into the park. We do have public picnic shelters located outside the Main Entrance. Guests with coolers, baskets and other carry-in items can place them on a picnic table in these areas. Cedar Point is not responsible for items left unattended in the picnic shelters.
Where can my pet stay while I'm in the park?
Although you're welcome to bring your pet on the property, pets are not permitted inside the park. Cedar Point Shores Waterpark offers Pet Check. For $15 per animal, per day, your pet will be provided with a cage or run and fresh water. Owners may return to feed their pet throughout the day. Overnight lodging is not available.
Please note that the waterpark staff does not feed, walk, handle or provide special care or feeding times for pets. Reservations are not accepted. Pet Check is open one hour prior to park open until park close. All pets must be picked up by Cedar Point closing time.
