What should I bring? 
We recommend bringing a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.

What should I wear? 
Please make sure you dress appropriately for the weather. Casual attire is usually preferred, and a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses are recommended year-round.

Is the tour appropriate for children? 
Yes.

Is the tour wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the Desert Belle is handicap accessible. This includes a wheelchair accessible bathroom and grab bar. The Marina also has ramps that lead to the dock for boarding the Desert Belle via wheelchair or stroller.

Can I bring my camera? 
Yes.

How long is the tour? 
All cruises are 90 minutes long.

What’s included in my ticket/experience? 
On the relaxing 90-minute Narration Cruise, you will see exotic Arizona wildlife, towering canyon walls, and dramatic desert vistas. It’s the perfect spot to bring out-of-town guests because it allows you to experience the magnificent desert beauty and natural wildlife of spectacular Saguaro Lake—one of the Valley’s hidden treasures.

Can I bring my own food/beverages? 
No, but there is a snack bar on the boat that serves bottled water/soda, beer, wine, cocktails, popcorn, and various other snacks. Credit cards only are accepted. All bags are subject to search.

Can I bring my pet? 
We gladly welcome ADA Service Animals that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability. Therapy Animals, Emotional Support Animals, and Comfort Animals are not considered Service Animals under ADA guidelines.

Is there air conditioning aboard the Desert Belle?
YES! The lower level of the Desert Belle is climate controlled. On the upper level, there are awnings overhead to help protect you from the sun.

When do I check-in? 
Check-in is required for all passengers. Whether you buy your tickets online or through our reservationists, you must still check-in at the ticket booth located at the Lake. The coast guard requires that we know the exact number of people aboard each cruise; therefore, EVERYONE must check-in. No exceptions.

Check-in begins *approximately 11:30 am for the 12:30 pm cruise, 2:00 pm for the 2:45, and 4:15 pm for the 5:00 pm.

*These times are an approximation. Our crew may be checking in slightly later or earlier than the times given on a day-to-day basis.

Are lifejackets available for use?
Yes, we do have life jackets on board for every passenger. Arizona State Law requires that all children ages 12 and under must wear life jackets.

Is seating assigned on the cruise? 
No. The cruise is on a first-come, first-served basis. You are able to get up and move around to available seats throughout the cruise.
