The Museum of Modern Art - MoMA

Is parking available?
The Museum does not have a parking garage. However, MoMA visitors and members receive discounted parking at nearby garages. Parking is first come, first served. Tickets must be validated. The 1345 Garage is located at 101-41 West 54 Street (between Sixth and Seventh avenues, on the left side of the street, under the Ziegfeld Theater. Tickets must be validated at either the lobby information desk or the film desk. Parking fees vary per hour.

Are cameras allowed?
Still photography for personal use is permitted in collection galleries only. No flash, tripods, or camera extension poles allowed. Videotaping is permitted in the lobby only. No photographs or videotapes may be reproduced, distributed, or sold without permission from the Museum.

Do you offer a coat check?
Yes, all bags are subject to security inspection before entering the Museum. The Museum requires visitors to check all items that are larger than 11 x 15 x 5 inches (28 x 38 x 13 cm) and can check items as large as 14 x 22 x 9 inches (36 x 56 x 23 cm). To avoid a long wait in the checkroom line, visitors should not bring such items. Any item that is larger than 14 x 22 x 9 inches (36 x 56 x 23 cm) will not be allowed in the checkroom and cannot be brought into the galleries.

What items are not allowed?
Any item that is larger than 14 x 22 x 9 inches (36 x 56 x 23 cm) will not be allowed. Food and drink cannot be brought into the Museum and may not be checked at the coat checks. The use of pens and markers is prohibited. Talking on cellular phones is not permitted in the Museum's galleries or theaters. Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the Museum.

Are strollers allowed?
Baby strollers are permitted at all times, but are not permitted on escalators.

Are wheelchairs available?
Wheelchairs are available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis and are located in the checkroom in the main lobby. Motorized wheelchairs are permitted.

Is the museum wheelchair accessible?
All public areas of the Museum are wheelchair accessible. All entrances are wheelchair accessible. Entrances with power assist doors are located on Fifty-third and Fifty-fourth streets between Fifth and Sixth avenues.

Can we draw in the galleries?
Pens and other coloring utensils are not allowed in Museum galleries. Pencils are allowed, but we ask that adults carry them while traveling in the galleries.

I heard that kids receive free admission. Up to what age?
Kids 16 and under receive free admission to the Museum.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Is parking available?
The Museum parking garage, located at Fifth Avenue and 80th Street, is open twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Fees vary per hour.

Are cameras allowed?
Still photography is permitted for private, noncommercial use only in the Museum's galleries devoted to the permanent collection. Photographs cannot be published, sold, reproduced, transferred, distributed, or otherwise commercially exploited in any manner whatsoever. Photography is not permitted in special exhibitions or areas designated as "No Photography"; works of art on loan from private collections or other institutions may not be photographed. The use of flash is prohibited at all times and in all galleries. Movie and video cameras are prohibited.

Do you offer a coat check?
Yes, all backpacks, large bags, and large umbrellas must be checked in at the coat-check facilities. To ensure the safety of the collection, the Museum does not permit visitors to carry bags on their backs in the galleries.

What items are not allowed?
Visitors are discouraged from bringing large bulky items such as backpacks or luggage into the Museum. Food and drink cannot be brought into the Museum and may not be checked at the coat checks. The use of pens and markers is prohibited. Musical instruments cannot be brought into the Museum and may not be checked at the coat checks.

Are strollers allowed?
Strollers are permitted in most areas—inquire at Information Desks for gallery limitations. Oversize and jogging strollers are prohibited.

Are wheelchairs available?
Wheelchairs are available free of charge at coat-check areas on a first-come, first-served basis. Advance reservations are not available.

Is the museum wheelchair accessible?
The Museum is accessible to wheelchair users and other visitors who need to avoid stairs. Accessible entrances are located at Fifth Avenue and 81st Street and through the parking garage at Fifth Avenue and 80th Street.





American Museum of Natural History

Is parking available?
Parking is available at our facility conveniently located within the Museum; enter at 81st Street between Central Park West and Columbus Avenue. The hours of operation are 8:00 am – 11:00 pm. Fees vary per hour.

What subway stop are you located at?
Take the B (weekdays only) or C to 81st Street. Two blocks west of the Museum, the 1 train stops at Broadway and West 79th Street.

Are cameras allowed?
Except where noted, photography for personal use is allowed with hand-held cameras and with available light or electronic flash attachments. Tripods and lights may not be used. Reproduction or sale of photographs is not allowed without Museum permission. No flash photography is permitted in the Space Theater or in the LeFrak Theater.

Are strollers allowed into the museum?
strollers are permitted throughout the museum, excluding the IMAX and Planetarium theaters and Butterfly Conservatory. Where strollers are not permitted, stroller parking is provided. There are also changing stations in men's and women's restrooms throughout the building, as well as in the family restrooms, located on the first floor.

Do you offer a coat check?
Yes, the coat check is located in the Theodore Roosevelt Rotunda, directly inside the main entrance of the Museum at Central Park West at 79th Street. An additional coat check is located on the lower level of the Rose Center and operates September through March. Coats, umbrellas, and bags may be checked for $2 per person, space permitting.

What items are not allowed?
Visitors are discouraged from bringing large bulky items such as backpacks or luggage into the Museum. Items not accepted in the coat check include perishables, wallets, purses, musical instruments, bikes, computers and other items deemed to be of high value. All articles must be claimed before the museum closes. The museum is not responsible for articles left overnight. The museum reserves the right to inspect any parcel brought into the premises.

Are wheelchairs available?
Wheelchairs are available for visitor use on a first-come, first-served basis at the Will Call desk directly inside the Rose Center/81st Street entrance, at the Main/Central Park West entrance, and in the parking garage. Please bring a form of identification for wheelchair use.

Is the museum wheelchair accessible?
All of the Museum's exhibitions are accessible by wheelchair, and all public floors of the Museum can be reached by elevator. All theaters include wheelchair locations and companion seats. The LeFrak Theater also is equipped with chairs that have swing-out armrests for those wishing to sit in a theater seat. All food service areas are accessible by wheelchair with no steps, turnstiles, or other potential obstructions.


Ripley's Believe It or Not! Times Square

How much time should I plan to spend at the museum?
Most guests spend between an hour and a half to two hours exploring the strange and unique artifacts, exhibits and interactive experiences at Ripley's Times Square. As with any attraction or museum, your personal tastes will determine how long it takes. If you plan to dive into every item and read each caption, you'll be here a bit longer. If you plan to focus on featured galleries, you will find that two hours is sufficient.

Is photography allowed at Ripley’s Times Square?
We encourage guests to take as many photos of themselves as they want while interacting with our exhibits.

Is the museum wheelchair accessible?
Yes, Ripley's Times Square is handicapped accessible. Wheelchairs are available upon request at the admission desk on a first-come, first-served basis.

Do you allow strollers?
Yes.

Is food or drink allowed in the museum?
A number of our exhibits are priceless and simply cannot be replaced if damaged. Therefore, to be sure that we preserve the collection for future visitors, we do not allow any outside food, gum, or beverages.

Is this museum the same as other Ripley’s?
Ripley's personal treasures can be seen in Believe It or Not! attractions around the world. Each museum is unique in its collection of oddities and in their presentation. No Ripley's Believe It or Not! museum would be complete without the "old favorites" however - the incredible people whose stories Ripley gathered on his journeys around the globe. These strange people are brought back to life in detailed wax figures.

Madame Tussauds is not responsible for parking discount or association with Global Parking LLC. Oversized vehicles are subject to additional charge.

Can I take large bags or luggage to Madame Tussauds?
For security reasons, large bags or luggage are not permitted to be left with Madame Tussauds staff. Lockers are available for most items.

How long does a visit to Madame Tussauds last?
It takes approximately an hour and half to complete a visit of Madame Tussauds, including Cinema 4D.

How long can I expect to wait in line to get into Madame Tussauds?
During busy seasons (i.e. holidays and summer), the wait can be up to an hour. No need to worry, you can snap photos with our wax celebrity hosts, or watch our fun video introduction.

Can I take a baby stroller to Madame Tussauds?
Yes.

Can I take any animals or pets to Madame Tussauds?
No animals or pets are permitted into Madame Tussauds. However, we do permit Service Animals.

Are there wheelchairs available?
Wheelchairs are available on request but the number available is limited - there is no charge or deposit required. Wheelchairs are available on a first come, first served basis.

Can I take a camera to Madame Tussauds?
We encourage taking many photos! Cameras are permitted in all public areas of Madame Tussauds.

Can I eat or drink at Madame Tussauds?
We do not permit outside food and beverage. However, you can purchase food and beverage in the attraction.

We do not recommend this tour for children because of the content of the tour. While children are welcome on the tour, please keep in mind that tours are 2.5 hours long and we walk approximately a mile and a half. Parents, who know their children best, should assess whether a 2.5-hour walking food tour is appropriate for their child’s attention span and stamina. All participants ages 4 and older are required to purchase a standard, full priced ticket. Children ages 3 and under can attend for free.

How much walking and standing is involved?
The tour covers approximately 1.5 miles over a 2.5 hour period. The tour is conducted at a relaxed pace and stops frequently. You will have the opportunity to sit down at most of the restaurants we visit. We still recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes because we will be on our feet most of the time.

What if I have dietary restrictions or food allergies? Are there vegetarian options on the tour?
We can accommodate vegetarians. However, please let us know during your purchase if anyone in your party is vegan, gluten-free, lactose intolerant, has any dietary restrictions or food allergies. It is not always possible, but we will do our best to accommodate special dietary needs.

We generally stop at 4-8 locations. Enough food is served to amount to a satisfying meal for most participants.

Alcoholic tastings will be provided at about 2-3 of the restaurants we visit. Each sample is about 3 oz. Since the tours go out rain or shine, we recommend wearing weather appropriate clothing. Please wear comfortable walking shoes, since we will be on our feet most of the time.
