When is the best time to visit?
The aquarium tends to be busiest during the weekends and during the morning hours. For a less crowded experience, visit during the afternoon or evening on a weekday.
Can I bring food or drink into the aquarium?
No. Outside beverages or food items are not permitted into the aquarium. The Concord Mills Mall has a food court for those in need of a snack or drink.
What are the restrictions for the Children’s Play Zone?
All children in the play zone must wear socks and be less than 4' 9" tall. These rules are in accordance with state health and safety regulations.
Can I take pictures while in the Aquarium?
Yes. However, please turn the flash off to protect the fish and animals inside the aquarium.
Is there a gift shop?
Yes.
Can we touch the creatures?
We ask that guests only interact with our animals when invited to by a member of our staff. The Interactive Touchpool exhibit is where guests may be invited to do so.
I need to leave the aquarium? Can I return later in the day?
Yes. General admissions tickets are good for the entire day. Guests must have their hand stamped upon exiting in order to re-enter the aquarium.
Is the aquarium accessible?
Yes. Our aquarium is wheelchair and stroller accessible.
Are wheelchairs or scooters available to rent?
The aquarium does not offer scooters or wheelchairs for rent. However, the Concord Mills Mall has manual wheelchairs available to guests at the Guest Services Center.
Is parking available?
The aquarium is located on the north side of Concord Mills Mall, near Entrance 7. Guests can take advantage of the free, public parking near the entrance. A drop-off/pick-up area is available here as well.
