Myrtle Waves Water Park

Can I bring my own tubes or rafts?
Guests may not bring any recreational flotation devices into the park, however life jackets and tubes are provided free of charge on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Can I bring a picnic?
Myrtle Waves provides a picnic area outside of the main entrance of the park. Guests are able to enjoy their picnic in this area but are not allowed to bring any outside food or beverage into the facility.

Can we leave and re-enter the park in the same day?
Yes. As long as you have your hand stamp or wristband.

Where are the best places to play with my toddler in the park?
Bubble Bay and Saturation Station are our two most popular attractions for small children and have been designed with the toddler's age and skill in mind.

What if there is bad weather on the day of my visit?
It is advised that you check the local forecast for the Myrtle Beach area prior to your visit. Myrtle Waves Water Park does not close slides due to rain, however in the event of thunder and lightning, attractions will be temporarily closed. Rain checks will be provided at General Manager’s discretion. No refunds will be issued. Please keep in mind that if inclement weather is expected for the entire day, Myrtle Waves Water Park reserves the right to not open the facility.

What is the best time to visit Myrtle Waves?
Every time is the best time to visit Myrtle Waves! You can review our Operating Calendar for dates and hours. Sunday is usually the slowest day for the water park and will forward you the greatest opportunity to ride the greatest number of slides.

What about Water Safety?
Myrtle Waves is staffed with over 100 specially trained, award winning life guards.  While it is the duty of the guards to ensure the safety of all Guests, we ask that parents please be mindful of their children and family members at all times.  Ride safety rules are posted at each pool and slide.  We request that each Guest review these thoroughly.  Life jackets are provided throughout the park and their use is encouraged to provide additional safety.

What’s the parking situation like?
We have ample parking for all vehicles, including motor coaches.

What are the height requirements/restrictions?
There are no height restrictions on Saturation Station, Bubble Bay, the Ocean in Motion Wave Pool, and the Lazy River. Riders must be taller than 42" inches to ride all slides. All slides have a 250 lb. weight restriction. Children under 48" must wear a life-vest in the Racin' River. Arooba Tooba and Snake Mountain both have a 250 lb single rider and 400 lb. Double rider weight restriction.

Do you offer locker rentals?
Yes. We encourage using a locker to store all valuables and personal items. Various sized lockers are available on the Island and beside the Ocean in Motion Wave Pool. Lockers can be rented with cash and/or credit/debit cards.

Are tubes available in the park?
Yes. Courtesy tubes are provided for all slides that require a tube.
