Will I see lava flow?
Lava flow sightings are not guaranteed. Surface lava flows may be present but may not be visible due to environmental conditions or time constraints. If conditions permit, walking/hiking on rough, uneven lava surfaces is involved.
What should I wear?
We recommend dressing comfortably for the weather conditions, wearing sturdy walking shoes, and bringing a light jacket in case of windy or chilly weather. In addition, wearing a hat and sunglasses will block the sun during portions of the tour.
Is lunch included?
No. However, lunch is available for purchase during the tour.
Can guests who require a wheelchair participate in the tour?
Yes, with the following notes and restrictions:
If you require any special accommodations due to disability, please include them under the “Have Special Needs” section at the time of booking. If you require a wheelchair accessible vehicle, the type of wheelchair must be included in the comments section when booking online or by directly calling Roberts Hawaii. Due to limited availability, we require that ADA vehicle reservations be made a minimum of 48 hours prior to date and time of service. We will make all reasonable attempts to accommodate the needs of disabled travelers.
Is hotel transportation available?
Yes. Please call the number on your e-Ticket after booking to reserve and confirm your hotel transportation for the tour.
