The tour begins at 7:30 am - 8:30 am and is approximately 7 hours long.
What should I bring on the tour?
It is recommended that guests bring the following items:
- Camera & Charger
- Sneakers or comfortable walking shoes
- Comfortable clothes (shorts & T-shirt or similar)
- Sun protection
- Water bottle
- Small, soft-sided day bag only (no large luggage)
- Raincoat/jacket (in winter months)
- Extra cash for meals
What is included in my tour?
The Silicon Valley Tech Tour includes:
- Complimentary pickup/dropoff from your San Francisco hotel
- Full-time professional, knowledgeable guide
- Transportation to/from Silicon Valley in bio fueled mini-coach
- Computer History Museum entrance fee
- Narrated guided in-coach tour
- Free time to explore Google Campus, Facebook Sign, and more
- Visit downtown Palo Alto and experience startup culture
Is food included in the tour?
No. However, the tour includes a stop in Palo Alto to purchase lunch.
Will we go into the tech/start-up campuses?
No. Google, Apple, Facebook, and other possible stops on this tour are places of business, and people are working in the buildings. The tour is able to bring you to see many of the public areas, but you will not be allowed into the working buildings on the campuses.
Can I be picked up at the SFO Airport or airport area hotels?
No. Complimentary pick-up and drop-off are only available from San Francisco area hotels. If you’re staying at an airport hotel with a car, Incredible Adventures can suggest a local hotel in the city that has very reasonable flat-rate parking. Taking the BART into the city and meeting us right at the Powell St station at a central hotel meeting point is also suggested.
