This is a great amusement park because artists demonstrate all day long their skills with old-time crafts. Some of the crafts include glass blowing, basket weaving, blacksmithing, and many, many more.

These crafts are displayed for sale in their shops. In Silver Dollar City you are always welcomed by employees in turn-of-the century Ozarks costumes who are always friendly, informative and entertaining. Rides for all ages abound, too.
What is the food like?
The food is typical of the Ozarks...very tasty and filling. You see old-time candy and desserts being made, too. Can't forget the stand with funnel cakes. A day in Silver Dollar City takes you back in time listening to old-time music, many shows, and street entertainers, too. A turn-of-the century day couldn't be any more authentic or enjoyable with loved ones.
