What are the hours of operation?
Tour starts at 5:00 am and pick-ups will begin at approximately 4:45 am.
What should I bring?
Helpful things to bring are beverages with a screw-on cap, sunscreen, and cash or credit cards if you are planning to purchase anything such as souvenirs.
What should I wear?
We recommend comfortable walking shoes and for the summer months’ wear sunblock and hats for protection. Dressing in layers is also suggested as summer monsoon storms are common. For the Winter months’ dress in warm layer-able clothing.
Is the tour appropriate for children?
Children are welcome on this tour. Just be aware that this is a day tour and that your children should be able to handle traveling for extended periods.
Is transportation included?
Yes, hotel pick-up and drop-off is provided.
Does the Bus have Free WiFi?
Yes, the Wifi is provided free of charge, although it is dependent upon a clear cell phone signal.
Does the vehicle include A/C and Heating?
Yes, there are air conditioning and heating units located in the vehicles.
Is there a bathroom located on the bus?
Yes, for your convenience a unisex restroom is located on the tour bus.
Is gratuity expected?
Tips are accepted and appreciated for a job well done. We suggest a 10% tip minimum, which is the industry standard.
Can I bring my camera?
Yes, great photo opportunities.
How long is the tour?
Approximately 14 hours.
Are food and beverages included in the Grand Canyon Railway tour?
On our Grand Canyon Railway tour, a light breakfast snack and delicious deli lunch are included. All you can drink water is included.
