Yes, all of our programs are guided tours through some of the most scenic landscapes surrounding Las Vegas. The tours will consist of varying terrain that will range from slow and technical to more open and fast. The guided tour allows everyone to safely experience the thrill of driving these amazing off-road machines while enjoying the scenery of the Mojave Desert.
How old do I have to be to participate?
Drivers must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license. Riders must be at least 15 years of age. Anyone under 18 years of age must have parental consent to participate as a rider.
Can we bring alcohol on the tour?
All Nevada state DUI laws apply to off-highway vehicle operators so we do not permit any consumption before or during the tour.
Is transportation provided to the Zero1 Desert Adventures powered by RZR base camp?
Yes, we offer complimentary transportation from and back to the Las Vegas Strip. There are designated pick-up locations/times that correspond with scheduled tours. Transportation must be arranged/chosen at the time of tour reservation.

Where is Zero1 Base Camp located?
21016 Las Vegas Blvd South, Jean, NV 89019. We have secured parking. It is approximately 20 minutes south of the MGM resort.
When should I arrive at Zero1 Base Camp?
Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time to check-in.
How do I get to Zero1 Base Camp if I am driving?
The easiest way to get to Base Camp is to take I-15 South toward Los Angeles and then take exit 25 at Sloan Road. Continue on Las Vegas Blvd South for 9.5 miles. Base Camp will be the on the right.
Are the RZR’s easy to drive?
Yes, the Polaris RZR XP 1000 vehicles have the latest and greatest technology, including all-wheel-drive, electronic power steering and automatic (Centrifugal) gearbox which makes them very capable of handling the off-road terrain. They are equipped with rollover protection and seat belts. They do, however, have 110 horsepower and must be driven properly for the off-road conditions.
Is there any training about the vehicles before the adventure starts?
Yes, all participants will go through a brief vehicle and safety orientation. Your guide will familiarize you with the RZR vehicles, how to drive in off-road terrain and how to use radio communication during the tour. Total training time is approximately 30 minutes.
What should I wear?
You should dress according to the weather conditions. Keep in mind that the off-road vehicles do not have windshields so it will feel colder than the current temperature. Be aware that you will likely experience dust (and sometimes mud) on the tour so plan accordingly. Closed-toed shoes (sneakers) are mandatory. Please no flip-flops, sandals or high heels.
Can I bring my own helmet?
That depends. Our vehicles are equipped with in-helmet radio communication systems. All drivers must be able to hear and talk to the guide or support cars during the tour. We use Rugged Radios system communications in all of our vehicles, if your helmet is compatible with the Rugged Radios system, you are welcome to wear it. Helmets must be full-face or you must have proper goggles if using an open-face helmet.
Am I responsible if there is damage to the vehicle?
COVERED – Flat Tires, Bent Wheels, etc. resulting from normal operation. NOT COVERED – Damage resulting from negligence resulting in ROLLOVERS, CONTACT WITH OTHER VEHICLES or GOING OFF DESIGNATED TRAILS. Driver will be responsible for negligent damage done to the vehicle and will be charged for up to $3,000.00 worth of damage. All participants on-site at check-in can upgrade for $15.00 and only be responsible for up to $1,500.00 if any negligent damage to the vehicle.
Will there be stops during the adventure tour?
Yes, each tour has predetermined stopping points. These stopping points will be brief and will serve as great places to take photos, grab a water or snack and to switch drivers (if you are sharing the driving time).
Are there restrooms available during the tour?
No. The tours take place in the Mojave Desert and there are no restroom facilities available… only nature’s restrooms. There are restrooms at Base Camp. Your guide will carry supplies if needed during the tour. There are restrooms available at the Pioneer Saloon if your tour includes a stop at that location (Pioneer Desert Adventure tour only).
